Due to the Type R's Bosch ECU, e-tuning is a relatively safe and straightforward process that can give you 95% of the gains that a dyno tune would. All you have to do is record datalogs while driving under specific conditions, email them to us, and upload the revisions we send back. Our dyno tunes include this full service as well!

You can rest assured that your Type R is in good hands. We are one of the only Type R tuning shops that actually owns and dailies a Type R and we're also responsible for creating the community tuning knowledgebase known as the FK8 Wiki

E-Tuning includes every aspect of tuning a normal tune would have, including:

  • Airflow metering correction (MAF sensor calibration)
  • Part throttle
  • Wide open throttle
  • Cam angles
  • VTEC

  • Traction control

We do not just focus on the wide open throttle power as overall balance is vital to a healthy Type R.

All tunes include free revisions for minor changes and upgrades for as long as you own the car. Retunes for parts such as downpipes, turbochargers, and fuel systems start at $200. If you would like to be fine-tuned on the dyno following an e-tune, it is also considered a retune.

A Hondata FlashPro, jailbroken ECU, and Windows computer is required.
